The Tacomin Effect is a phenomenon in Have Spellbook Wikery which has similar effects to the high gravity just outside the event horizon of a black hole, or at the deepest level of quantum interaction between subatomic particles, wherein the normal Newtonian laws of Wikery do not apply. Back stories become more intricate by orders of magnitude. Years, nay decades, of established racial game canon are thrown out the window in the interest of adding "spice" to the campaign. Wiki pages normally hosting the deadly serious and factual recitation of story details morph and skew into focusing on random characters. And numbering of show volumes mysteriously alters, skipping major numbers like 21 and 22.

The Tacomin Effect is named after the character Tacomin Gemmin', who did something or other one time.
